Seventh Generation Diapers!

I noticed at my local Fry's stores that they are putting all of their Seventh Generation diapers on clearance!  I saw some as low as $3.49, instead of the normal $14.99ish price!  This is a huge savings, and these are great diapers!

If you don't have a Fry's, you can check your local Kroger as they are an affiliate store.

These would be perfect for the little baby in your life, or even as a baby shower gift!

*The three packs I picked up are going towards Stork Supply, the Arizona organization I started.  That is about 90 diapers to help babies and parents in need!

I'm back!

Well, it has been a long year ...

There have been a lot of things going on in my personal life, and as a result, it has been harder for me to keep this blog updated!  However, I'm back!

Despite being busy, I have made it a priority to donate whenever possible.  Most recently, this meant multiple trips to the local animal shelter with my daughter.  Each time, we brought a large bag of cat liter and treats.  At the discount store nearby, the bags were on a sale that equaled a very large savings, so I picked up multiple bags.  The treats, as well.

I firmly believe that there is always a way to donate and give back to your community.  This does mean that you have to do it on a large scale, even just picking up one can of cat food or maybe you have a can of corn sitting in your pantry that you don't want anymore.  It can be one small thing that can make a difference.  Really.

I'm ready to get back to posting my scores and hoping to inspire you all to donate, too!

Toothbrushes - Great Donation Item!

Toothbrushes are a great donation item to different organizations.  A lot of the organizations that I donate to request these.  If you are a "couponer", then you have probably managed to get a lot of these for free.  While I have built up a small stash of toothbrushes, it has been quickly dwindling down as I hand them out to family and small donations.

While making a quick stop into Dollar Tree, I was happy to see that they had packs of four toothbrushes that were individually wrapped.  That makes them .25 each, which for me, is a stock up price anyways.  Since they are individually wrapped, they are much easier to donate to different organizations!  They not only had them in adult sizes, but child sizes, as well (3 to a pack).  You can donate these to shelters, Ronald McDonald House, troops over seas...

*I picked up about $10 worth, and mine will be heading to a local domestic violence shelter, our local rescue mission shelter, and also the Ronald McDonald House.

Amazon: Sodial Handbag Cosmetic Pocket Traveler

Amazon currently has a Sodial handbag organizer for your cosmetics and other items -

This is priced at $5.65 with free shipping - It does ship from overseas, so it may take a while to get to you.

Goodwill Clearance - Donation Opportunity!

Today, the Goodwill Clearance Center had a very cool sale going on -

They price their clothing by the POUND - Yes, the pound!  Instead of the normal .69 a pound price, they had it for .49!

This was my first time at this clearance center.  It was not very organized and you had to dig around, but it was fun!  I managed to find some nice clothing items - Even name brand!

I got about 50 pounds for $20ish dollars!  Can you believe that?

If you have a Goodwill Clearance Center near you, you may want to check it out sometime!

*All clothing items are being donated to a local domestic violence shelter.  Many women who come to these shelters come with very minimal items, for themselves and their children.  These shelters are always happy to receive clothing donations, though check ahead with your local shelter for specific needs and requirements.

We are on vacation right now and recently made a stop to Meijer. They had a small section of Christmas items for 90% off! I was actually surprised at the selection, but maybe it was just the one I stopped at. There were a lot of other clearance markdowns throughout the store! Very cute baby clothes, and even some really stylish boots for women ans kids! Now, even though a lot if the markdowns were for winter items, way over half were not! If you live near a Meijer, definitely worth checking out!

*This is a fabulous opportunity to score some winter clothing cheap and donate it to your local shelter!
